Position: Business Analyst/Business Consultant – Business Development (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership in Business Development: Aid in identifying and sourcing of new deals and projects, providing insights and recommendations based on market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Support in guiding the team in the proposal and project design, fostering a results-driven environment that encourages timely execution and delivery of business development objectives.
  • Proposal Management: Strategically plan, meticulously design, and efficiently manage the end-to-end bidding process for relevant solicitations, while ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and priorities.
  • Digital Archiving: Oversee and maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date internal record of all proposals and projects, ensuring easy accessibility and reference for all stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the quality control of all proposals and significant deliverables, setting high standards of excellence and implementing rigorous review processes to ensure these standards are consistently met.
  • Capacity Building: Champion the team’s professional growth by developing and delivering comprehensive internal workshops to enhance their skills and competencies to complete bidding processes with exceptional quality and efficiency.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team, providing them with valuable data and content that can be utilized in developing compelling marketing collaterals, thereby contributing to the organization’s brand visibility and market positioning.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Foster strong relationships with potential clients and other project stakeholders through regular, transparent communication, demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
  • Business Development Initiatives: Spearheaded business development initiatives by organizing events, conducting webinars, and other innovative marketing activities (both online and offline), aiming to enhance LightCastle’s industry recognition and brand value.

Qualification Required: 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Development Studies, Humanities, Finance, Management, Economics, or any relevant field.
  • General understanding and experience in proposal writing and business development; experience managing bids for donor-led RFQs is a significant advantage.
  • A clear understanding of concepts such as market systems development, private sector development (PSD), blended finance, and project monitoring & evaluation.
  • Candidates with a background in project management/business development consulting are encouraged to apply.
  • Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Professional attitude, intellectual curiosity, good team player.
  • Superior communication, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent English & Bangla communication skills – both written and oral are mandatory.
