Biniyog Briddhi launches cohort-2 of Train-the-Trainer Program with 6 leading accelerators & incubators

B-Briddhi launches cohort-2 of the Train-The-Trainer program, a powerful fitness opportunity for incubators and impact enterprises that covers the latest knowledge and tools in Investment Readiness or Impact Management. Professionals from the following 6 highly reputed organizations from the entrepreneurship ecosystem are attending the program this year.

  • Bangladesh Angels:
    Bangladesh Angels is the country’s first angel investing platform, founded with a mission to elevate the country’s startup entrepreneurs to the highest level.
  • BetterStories Limited:
    BetterStories is one of the early veteran entrepreneurship enablers in Bangladesh that empowers the creation of a whole new generation of leaders for Bangladesh through entrepreneurship. The target sectors include Smart Technology, Strategic Consulting, and Startup Ecosystem Building.
  • BRAC Social Innovation Lab:
    BRAC Social Innovation Lab is the social enterprise support wing of BRAC, the largest NGO in Bangladesh that supports scaling new ideas to solve the most complex social problems. They incubate innovative ideas by generating quick insights to foster impact. It also offers partnerships, knowledge-sharing platforms, and expertise in redesigning business models and services.
  • Truvalu Group:
    An impact enterprise focuses on creating local jobs, global networks, and a sustainable impact combined with economic returns. Truvalu’s goal is to support early-stage businesses to grow them into profitable companies.
  • Turtle Venture:
    An early-stage incubator operating to educate growing young entrepreneurs with expertise and network. It offers a platform to support the structure, legal, tech, market research, business consultancy, product review, and pitch deck development of young enterprises.
  • YY Ventures:
    YY Ventures was created in partnership with ‘Yunus Centre’, as a social business support entrepreneurial capacity and innovative means to achieve social and environmental objectives that have a sustained impact.

The Train-The-Trainer program is segmented into two particular sections, Investment Readiness and/or Impact Management. It consists of a series of training workshops conducted by local and international experts.

The program also offers access to online workspaces and the Social Finance Academy platform to enhance and expand participants’ online learning experiences. Following the completion of the program, participating incubators must pass a Theoretical Exam and a Trainer’s Assessment in order to become eligible as service providers for the Voucher Scheme Component.

The training is provided by Roots of Impact in collaboration with LightCastle Partners. The program concentrates on approaches and solutions that are appropriate for the local regulatory environment and economic context.

Biniyog Briddhi is a multi-year partnership between the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh, Roots of Impact, LightCastle Partners, and other stakeholders, including investors, private sector organizations, incubators, and support organizations for impact enterprises.
