Grameenphone Accelerator Batch 7 Presented Their Community Pitch 1

The Batch 7 of Grameenphone Accelerator 3.0, the country’s first growth-focused accelerator program, was officially onboarded in February 2022. Into the 6 months of the accelerator program, the startups are now preparing to face the Demo Day and graduate from the program.

As part of the accelerator program, the startups attended the first of the two-part community pitch program on June 15 at Moar Gulshan, where they pitched to the attendees from the startup community and ecosystem. The community pitches were organized so that the startups can connect to a deeper level of the ecosystem as well as give the aspiring entrepreneurs and founders a chance to directly interact with the top 6 teams of this year’s Grameenphone Accelerator.

The pitch was organized in the afternoon and started with introducing all the participants, including the organizers and startups. To make the pitch successful, the startups delved deeper into the problems they are solving and how the community can help to cater to the approach. All the startups pitched their initiatives and the participants asked questions in regard to their statistics and data, business model, problem-solving scope, and how they are scaling their services.

The 6 startups that were part of the event were:

  1. Airwrk – Airwrk is an invite-only talent marketplace connecting Bangladeshi tech talents with full-time remote jobs from all over the world.
  2. Gameof11 – GameOf11 is a daily fantasy platform where you can show your sports analysis skills and get rewarded. Fantasy sport means the ultimate engaging experience for fans and our mission is to build an online sports ecosystem for every sports fan of Bangladesh.
  3. iPage – iPAGE is an AgriTech startup that enables small farmers to connect with the agri-value chain using data, machine learning, and AI. It is working to create an inclusive market system where smallholder producers can effectively avail of inputs and services to optimize their production practice per market demand.
  4. Lilac – Lilac’s aim is to provide support to women through online health consultation and an E-Shop containing diverse products for women’s health and wellbeing.
  5. OneThread – Onethread helps companies manage their projects with the easiest-to-learn solution in the market. They offer the most affordable pricing so that companies can adapt technologies to make their workflow smoother.
  6. Onnow – Onnow (অন্ন) is an internet restaurant platform that aims to empower over 600,000 SME Restaurants in Emerging Markets to survive against tough competition from large restaurant chains by giving them access to their proprietary and popular virtual menu concepts, training, supply chain, and technology.

The second community pitch will be held in Dhanmondi on June 26, 2022, where enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, GPA alumni, founders, and students will be joining to directly meet the startups.

Batch 7 of Grameenphone Accelerator will be conducting community Pitching-2 on 26th June at ULAB Auditorium, Dhanmondi Campus, Dhaka.
