LightCastle Business Confidence Index 2021

LightCastle Partners’ Flagship publication Business Confidence Index (BCI) is back! The fourth edition of BCI explores the sentiment of 150 industry leaders across 35+ sectors. This edition gauges the post-pandemic recovery sentiment of critical actors across primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors. The theme for this year is “skeptic optimism” as business leaders across the country hope for a better tomorrow despite contemporary challenges. The overall BCI score for the 2021 edition is +28.69, a significant improvement compared to -19.27 in 2020. The industries to feature in this study were purposefully determined to include sectors that had the highest level of contribution to the country’s GDP.
