In an insightful event titled “Rising to Perfection: The Flourishing Bangladeshi Bakery and its Key Ingredients”, hosted by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), LightCastle Partners was recently invited to share some of the findings of the study. Commissioned by the USDA, the study entailed a thorough value chain assessment of bakery ingredients and products in Bangladesh.

He earmarked the challenges which lie ahead, given the rising uncertainties caused by the geo-political climate. The outcomes of the research hold significant promise. Recommendations drawn from the study helped identify major market players within the bakery sector and forecasted the industry’s future growth, including its potential for U.S. exports. Moreover, the insights will empower U.S. government entities to design interventions that streamline trade by addressing systemic challenges.
