Bijon Islam Conducts Day-long Sustainability Roadmap Workshop for SNV Bangladesh

Bijon Islam, Co-founder and CEO of LightCastle Partners, recently completed an interactive and exciting day-long sustainable business development workshop titled “Sustainability Roadmap Workshop“. The day-long session was organized on August 17, 2021, by SNV Bangladesh, to up-tier and educate its partners who work on the RMG Inclusive Business Programs to ensure and maintain the health and well-being of ready-made garment workers.

Bijon led key parts of the training, focusing mainly on understanding the basics of the financial model for budding enterprises, guiding them on how to deliver the perfect business pitch, and so on. Additionally, Sajida Foundation, Alpha Islami Life Insurance, Phulki, Pragati Insurance, and UCEP were some of the participants present at this rigorous business model development workshop which mainly focused on 3 key areas:

• Delving into a sustainable/self-sustained business model
• Developing a financial model for young enterprises
• Preparing a winning business pitch practice.
