Bijon Islam Attends “SellerOne” Launch Event as Keynote Speaker

Bijon Islam, CEO, LightCastle Partners took part in the Launch Event of “SellerOne”, an online service platform jointly launched by Paperfly, e-CAB and a2i of ICT Division.

SellerOne is a service that seeks to empower the semi-urban or rural producers in selling and delivering products anywhere in Bangladesh. The launch event took place on September 6, 2020 where Bijon Islam, was joined by Rezwanul Huq Jami, Head of Ecommerce, A2i, ICT division, Mohammad Sahab Uddin, Vice-President of e-CAB, Hosna Ferdous Sumi, Private Sector Specialist, IFC Bangladesh and Syed M. Omar Tayub, SEVP & Head of MSME Banking of Prime Bank.

Bijon Islam also presented the keynote paper at the event, as experts shared their opinions on the importance of building an e-commerce focused logistics industry, as it would help to eradicate barriers for remote or outer Dhaka based sellers, helping more merchants expand their business to newer channels.

SellerOne has an immense reach, spanning across all 64 districts of Bangladesh, helping extend merchants’ product pick-up service to any district beyond the city of Dhaka whilst making deliveries to any address across the country much easier.
