Businesses must raise their ambitions and drive exponential change to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The panel discussion explored how innovation and technology can accelerate progress and help businesses achieve the SDGs. Meanwhile, the session brought together thought leaders in the innovation space to discuss the importance of digital transformation.

Business practices have fundamentally changed. Sustainability is no longer an option; it is a competitive requirement and the driving force behind operational efficiency and innovation. Companies that operate in a sustainable manner are more profitable and resilient. They have greater access to capital and are more responsive to employees, customers, and society.

Echoing other panelists, Bijon Islam stressed the importance of partnerships among businesses and young professionals to become more intentional in their work concerning sustainability.
