Bijon Islam Teaches Startup Financials at Huawei-iDEA ICT Incubator Bootcamp

LightCastle Co-founder & CEO, Bijon Islam, recently conducted a session titled “Startup: How to Set Financial Strategy & How to Do Financial Analysis” at the Bootcamp for Huwaei-iDEA ICT Incubator Contest 2022, co-organized by Startup Bangladesh Limited, Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) and Chinese ICT infrastructure and smart devices company Huawei.

The 3-day Bootcamp focused to train the contestant startups on how to launch and make their business sustainable. This bunch of startups have been shortlisted by Startup Bangladesh Limited and iDEA from a total of 180 applications. The screening has been done based on business Idea (pitch deck), team formation, feasibility, and traction.

During the three-day program, the shortlisted startups have attended various sessions on:

• Startup ideation and validation
• Go-to-market and scaling
• Growth marketing
• How to develop products and how to get feedback on products
• How to set financial strategy and how to do financial analysis
• Hiring and onboarding team members
• Sales strategy and negotiation
• Developing a customer base
• Legal and ethical issues, fundraising
• How to adapt emerging technologies
• KPI tracking and valuation methods

Bijon Islam conducted the workshop on Financial Strategy and Financial Analysis for Startups on the 2nd day of the Bootcamp.
