Launching of the Supplier Diversity Advisory Committee in Bangladesh

The World Bank and WEConnect International recently launched the Supplier Diversity Advisory Committee in Bangladesh to influence greater participation of women owned businesses in supply chains.

LightCastle as the local anchoring partner recently co-organized the second committee session attended by GEMCON Group, APEX Footwear, DBL Group, BRAC Bank Ltd and hosted by Knit Asia Ltd. Committee members from all five leading corporations have taken significant strides in supplier diversity in their individual companies and are working to augment this at a greater scale.
