AUST Job Fair 2024: LightCastle’s Impactful Presence and Future Endeavors

As sponsors and participants, LightCastle recently joined the AUST National Job Fair 2024, starting on February 4, 2024. This marked our second job fair participation this year, providing students and graduates with a valuable platform to connect with LightCastle, understand the company, explore management consulting careers, and discover opportunities within our organization.

Spanning two days, the career fair garnered a positive response, with a significant number of individuals visiting the LightCastle booth. Attendees familiarized themselves with the company, inquired about current job openings, and took the opportunity to apply for specific positions or leave their details for future consideration.

During this career fair, we also conducted Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) again as part of the SheStem project, specifically targeting female STEM graduates. The goal was to understand their challenges, explore future opportunities, and identify potential obstacles post-graduation. Participants shared insights, highlighted gaps, and provided recommendations for improvement.

On the first day, our team was represented by Shreyasee Karmaker – Trainee Consultant, and Nuzhat Naoshin – HR Officer. On the second day, Nuzhat Naoshin – HR Officer, and Sakina Binte Belayet– Trainee Consultant engaged again directly with students at the LightCastle stall.

Additionally, four individuals contributed to our FGD and KII sessions: Omar Farhan Khan – Senior Business Consultant and Project Manager, Ameera Fairooz – Business Consultant, Parisa Omar – Business Analyst, and Meenara Khandker – Business Consultant.

The job fair concluded with a closing ceremony featuring inspiring speeches from Bijon Islam, CEO of LightCastle Partners, and Omar Farhan Khan, Senior Business Consultant and Project Manager.

Our goal is to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and institutions, introducing them to LightCastle and encouraging them to join our team, thereby fostering a more inclusive corporate culture.
