LightCastle participates in Citi’s event: Next Wave of Treasury Digitization

Citibank, N.A. Bangladesh recently organized an event to discuss the emerging technological changes in the areas of trade related process and payments with specific emphasis on how global institutions like Citi can support digitization of the country’s economy.

Bijon Islam, CEO LightCastle Partners, discussed the prospects of Fintech products and process of effectively reaching the digital consumer class of Bangladesh.

Some of the distinguished guests present included Mr. Subhankar Saha, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, who served as the Chief Guest; Mr. Rizwanul Huda, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Finance; Mr. N. Rajashekaran, Managing Director and Citi Country Officer, Bangladesh; and Ms. Debopama Sen, Head of Treasury and Trade Solutions, South Asia
