LightCastle Partners facilitates a 2-Day Data Analytics Bootcamp

LightCastle Partners facilitated 2-Day Data Analytics Bootcamp at its office, on December 28 and 29, 2019. Participants from diverse backgrounds such as Large Corporations, Banks, Startups, and Students aced in solving challenging problems in R which were assigned to them throughout the day.

K. M. Saqiful Alam Analytics Adviser, Intelligent Machines Commonwealth Scholar and Ph.D. Student, National University Singapore (NUS) facilitated the training on coding in R, and then focused on generating summary statistics, data cleaning, querying and transformations.

The first day of the Bootcamp was based on R Studio – GUI interface, coding syntaxes, data structures and Logical and Iterative Calculations using R. On the second half more advanced concepts such as Loading and Scraping Data, Cleaning, Transforming and Querying Data and Descriptive and Summary Statistics from Data were discussed.

The second day started with the basics of Data visualization, Introduction to Machine Learning and Unsupervised Machine Learning such as Cluster Analysis and Dimensionality Reduction. During the second half, he discussed Supervised Machine Learning, Correlation, Regression, K nearest neighbors classification, Decision Trees, and Neural Networks.
