LightCastle signs Agreement with WSUP to Lead Investment Readiness Programmes

LightCastle Partners has recently signed a contract with Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP) for the project titled, “Consultancy to Assist the Enterprise Investment Readiness Programme”. LightCastle will support WSUP by leading several investment readiness programs with at least one enterprise operating under the SWEEP Business Model in Bangladesh.

LightCastle will start the project with M/S Shafi Enterprise, a SWEEP Business Model-based enterprise operating in Rangpur, to conduct the following tasks:

Creation of a 5-year Business Plan
Conversion of legal registration from a Sole Proprietorship to a Private Limited Company
Creation of standard financial statements
Development of standard financial controls and accounting procedures
Creation of a basic governance structure for the business
Preparation of an investment plan
Relationship creation and negotiations with relevant investors

The project is expected to be completed within 6 to 9 months.
