LightCastle Facilitates Engagement Between Bangladeshi and Dutch Poultry Sector Leaders

The PoultryTechBangladesh Program, financed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands, is a multi-year approach towards improving the poultry private sector of Bangladesh in collaboration with major Dutch poultry sector players through knowledge transfer and improved equipment utilization.

In accordance with the program goals, a Bangladeshi delegation consisting of leaders from the Paragon Group, Nourish, EON group, Chicks n Feed, Akij Group, and Unitex Group were invited to visit the leading poultry players from the Dutch sector namely, Marel, Nutreco, Hato, Mavitec, Aeres Training Center, Van Aarsen, Royal Pas Reform, Klaasen & Co., and Leen Menken.

The delegation was also invited to participate in a dialogue with the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, and visited the VIV Expo Netherlands and the Bangladesh-Netherlands Agri-business Conclave organized by the Bangladesh Embassy of Netherlands.

Larive-LightCastle is implementing the program in Bangladesh and the 6 days impact tour (May 29 – June 4, 2022) ensured knowledge dissemination and new business prospects for all the represented companies within the poultry spectrum.
