SMARTCAP receives Special Mention Award

SMARTCAP consortium consisting LightCastle Partners, Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture in Bangladesh, and Venture Investment Partners Bangladesh, received Special Mention Award at the closing ceremony of Business Finance for the Poor in Bangladesh (BFP-B) on February 26, 2020, after successfully completing the two-year-long project.

SMARTCAP transformed 50+ small and medium agro enterprises into growth-oriented business ventures by providing Smart Capital including Capacity Development, Agro-tech, Market Linkage, and Growth Capital of £86,000+ in order to introduce modern Agro-tech and create formal markets for 60,000+ smallholder farmers of Bangladesh.
