The first phase of JANO Project kicks off

LightCastle commenced primary research in Rangpur and Nilphamari last week for CARE’s Joint Action for Nutrition Outcomes (JANO) project. JANO is a five-year, EC-funded project that aims to support the Government of Bangladesh in effectively implementing the National Plan for Nutrition (NPAN) at the national, regional, and local levels.

The objective of the assignment is to assess, identify and select nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific value chains. Stakeholders included JANO project beneficiaries – adolescent girls, pregnant, and lactating women.
