The B-SkillFUL Program, funded by the Embassy of Switzerland and implemented by Swisscontact, aims to enhance the well-being of impoverished and disadvantaged workers in Bangladesh. By improving their access to the labor market and income opportunities, the program seeks to uplift their socio-economic conditions. Collaborating with B-SkillFUL, the SMART Blended Finance Program, led by LightCastle Partners, focuses on boosting the productivity and competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across sectors like Leather Goods, Light Engineering, and Furniture Making. To achieve this, we’ve designed an innovative, equity-linked instrument and provide business development support services. Additionally, the Blended Impact Fund, created by LightCastle Partners and Dana Fintech, offers growth capital to select enterprises from the program while connecting them with other financial institutions and private market actors. The support services provided by LightCastle Partners include enhancing the business environment, facilitating access to markets, and imparting essential business knowledge to MSMEs through financial literacy, marketing training, and workforce capacity development.
