As the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector in Bangladesh aims to strengthen its position in the global market, digital transformation emerges as a pivotal enabler. However, the existing regulatory periphery, particularly pertaining to international trade and transactions, poses compatibility challenges for the Bangladeshi apparel industry to access the burgeoning online market.

In response, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has commissioned LightCastle Partners to conduct a comprehensive feasibility assessment, delving into the necessary policy reformations, market potential, and the sector’s readiness for such a transformation.

The outcome aims to suggest a business model and an action plan, outlining the requisite strategies for the successful implementation of the platform.
